NVIDIA postpones the release of GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti
Will this mean more stock when the cards are launched?
While the performance offered by DLSS 4 can hardly be criticized, the launch of NVIDIA's new "Blackwell" range of graphics cards can hardly be called a success. Since the release of the first models on January 30, it's quite simple: all references of all products are almost systematically out of stock. Of course, demand is undoubtedly very high on the part of gamers won over by the performance of these GeForce RTX 50 series, but there can be only one explanation for this, and some point the finger at far too low stocks: manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers all seem to agree on this point.
After the GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 on January 30, NVIDIA followed up with the release of the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and then the GeForce RTX 5070, but each time the same problem of availability made itself felt. So, inevitably, when we learn that the next cards in the "Blackwell" range may not come out as planned, we start dreaming of a little extra time to build up larger stocks. Up until now, we've been talking about a late-March launch, but the latest rumors put forward by VideoCardz now suggest a two-stage release. Around mid-April, GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, with versions featuring 8 GB video memory and others with 16 GB, will be released. Only then - we're talking a month later all the same - will it be the turn of the GeForce RTX 5060, available only in an 8 GB version. All we can do now is hope for attractive prices and adequate stocks.
