On November 8, almost a month ago, Rockstar Games took the floor with a thread of several messages on X (formerly Twitter) to talk about the studio's 25th anniversary. Beyond the anniversary aspect, Sam Houser - the studio's co-founder and president - ended these messages by announcing to all fans of the Grand Theft Auto franchise " the release of the first trailer for the next GTA ", before adding " we look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you ".

Just a few days ago, Rockstar Games went back to the drawing board and, in doing so, confirmed what many had anticipated: no, the Grand Theft Auto VI trailer will not be shown at the Video Games Awards, the ceremony held on December 7 to reward the best games of the year. In fact, on another X message, Rockstar Games has released an image to announce that the event will take place on December 5 at 9AM ET, which corresponds to exactly 3PM Paris time.
